This work helps to examine the intersection of two global trends: a proliferation of oceans-related data, and increased interest in improving oceans governance. In the Ocean Science Decade, we continue to explore what is "the science we need" and what it means for achieving "the oceans we want."

We've just published version 2 of our ODSI catalog, which compiles a number of attributes of ODSIs gleaned from their websites. This includes information on their architecture, worldmaking capacity, governance, policy interventions, and treatment of equity. cdr.lib.unc.edu/concern/data...
