Today I made a stew of home grown red and orange carrots, potatoes, onions, and garlic. I did use store-bought bullion, Daring "chicken," and some assorted dried herbs. Time to dry some herbs for winter. Sadly I planted my winter squash too late this year, we're having a very early fall.
