I really like Exine. She is one of the most interesting character designs I've done in a long time, and she renders beautifully.

Wendy hates having to go into the weapons locker so if she's got a gun that means she has absolutely run out of patience and/or the story is approaching its final act.

I have been working on the part of the story which will henceforth be known as "the part with a lot of robot penis."
I can safely post this image because Wendy's gun is concealing the article in question, but note that Exine has a custom-decorated frame, and her choice of appliance matches that.

In panel 1 we see Cusi. Cusi is a deaged version of her mom, in panel 2. I picked that figure as her mom BECAUSE I knew from experience she'd deage fairly well. Many figures do not. And I still have to be very careful how I show Cusi because she can look OK (3) or very wrong (4). More in alt text.

Byla is my favorite character to render in the Coldpoint stories because somehow she always comes out looking striking and good no matter how you light her, and doesn't have the surface issues of some of the other robots. (They often come out too shiny, no matter what I do.)

RE LRP: Remember that one of the key audiences for these tools is self-isolating straight men who don't understand other people and don't know how to talk to them ... especially women, whom they have strange ideas about, and secretly really wish they could do without.

I will give Australians a parallel example of why Hungry Jack's is so strange to us. Imagine you went out to the shops and you saw a Woolworth's that still used its US logotype from the 1970's ...
... and instead of reading "Woolworth's" it said "K-Mart."

Re last repost: I kept waiting for someone to read Sleeper Squad 52 and ask "Why does T'Lau have breasts?" I had an answer prepared, but no one did. Either they didn't care or they didn't dare.

It is unclear even to me why Isabelle and Marcia are using an ice cream parlor as their base of operations this Hallowe'en, but it does allow me to put them in these fabulously kitsch outfits throughout these three little stories.

I would just like to salute Nabisco's package designers for coming up with Ritz and Oreo logos that not only say the same thing (more or less) in Korean but maintain the LOOK of the English logos. I mean, you can practically look at that Ritz logo and SEE "Ritz," even if you don't know any hangul.
