@mcuban.bsky.social @timmiller.bsky.social Is the 100 percent tariff on pharmaceuticals a retaliation against you?

@timmiller.bsky.social I have had better and worse days but this is the 1st time I feel myself questioning my resilience to this craziness. Seeing Kirk’s murder proudly weaponized against and dehumanizing a large segment of our citizenry. Today's VP podcast was grotesque. So many cheering people.

@timmiller.bsky.social How much of this weekend's conflict was Trump's retaliation to nobody showing up to his big military birthday?

Kristi Noem is the curliest of the Cabinet people. Mind you I don't think she wins that race by more than 0.03 seconds. But the winner nonetheless.

@timmiller.bsky.social Five months in and I feel exhausted. I will be at my local No Kings Day Protest on the 14th. But I am left with a sense of uncertainty & bewilderment - are losing or if we have already lost and just don't realize it yet.

Bill Pullman as a reflection of his professional character and against all odds puts in a top-tier emotional performance in ID4: Resurgence.

It is as if this movie made a conscious choice to pick the opposite of everything good.

My personal most disappointing film.

When Trump survived the assassination attempt and had to accept Elon’s direct help on the the campaign (literally, like sharing the stage with him and everything) I just thought about the baptism scene from THERE WILL BE BLOOD and it looks like we’re reaching the bowling alley scene now

Gonna say something obvious to most: real masculinity defends the defenseless, punches up not down, has compassion, and fights only on behalf of others to battle injustice or evil.

It doesn’t just lift weights and tweet in all caps and listen to Rogan and grow a beard to feel accepted by other men

To be an adolescence again & have those discovering for the first time feelings, “This can be that?!” Before you know all the formulas & had built up all the experiences of comparison. The innocence of discovering art for the first time where it washes over you without any baggage to the experience.

Many Original Films have been released to Cinemas in the last 30 days, but attendance has been very low, but the Minecraft Film this weekend brought in a 157 Million dollar box office. People seem to only care about seeing movies they already know.

I got kind of emo talking about Cory Booker's filibuster, not because it accomplished anything, but because someone was willing to stand up, say the true things, and calls us to action—but with love. www.youtube.com/live/MvFL81D...

Texting war plans to reporters is clearly bad

But the fact that America’s top leaders communicate about 40% via emojis is also freaking me out

If the Biden Administration had done what the Trump administration has done with their off-government platform planning of military operations with an unknown reporter added to the chat group MAGA would call for registrations, & Impeachment.

And they would have been right to call for those actions.
