Wanted one of these since they first came out, and had a project in mind for even longer back when I was looking at building a Beowulf cluster.

Got a good deal on a 486 PC and I'd kind of forgotten how much stuff in the ISA era just. Comes with IDE controllers on board for whatever reason. GPU? IDE Controller. Sound card? IDE controller. NIC? Believe it or not, IDE controller.

Wrote a paper for my MSc software dev module that basically argued modern processes (Agile, DevOps, Full Stack etc) are reducing the talent pool, increasing burnout, and result in worse software overall
Didn't think arguing that the stuff we're learning fucking sucks would help me, but... 😎
