Labelling an entire population as either subjugators or subjugated oversimplifies human histories and relationships.

This study looked only at the whitest of our white people. It did not look for any European DNA markers in other group (where you'd see evidence of integration)

tl;dr - we have 11 official languages and yes we learn zulu/xhosa in school. Early settlers also learned Koi and San

Sorry but this is a very uninformed viewpoint.
Early settlers integrated very closely with Koi and San tribes, with many having families together.

Apartheid was a dark stain on our history and it drove a very revionist narrative of integration between our people - which many people readily accept
