Given the previous reporting the NYT has done on trans medicine, my feelings on The Protocol summed up.

The article actually supports the original interpretation, and seems to suggest McBride is advocating for not being so critical of folks like Seth Moulton and Tom Suozzi. Which others can argue in defense of but that’s not a major correction to the original article.

Throwing my hat into the discourse in the NOTUS McBride article by pointing out that no the correction didn’t actually change what the article is saying and that was in fact advocating for expanding the tent to those opposed to trans athletes and other trans issues I.e. Seth Moulton/Tom Suozzi
