We don't have to live like this.

It starts with imagining better, and calling reality exactly what it is to starken the space - and necessary work - between what is and what should be.

This is why euphemism is a tool of fascism and imagination & expression are threats to it.

Measles is a bellwether. Because it’s the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, it’s the first to start spreading.

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.’s successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.

Public comment on Dr Oz's proposed rules to ban gender-affirming care for youth closes 2/17

One rule bans hospital-based care, the other eliminates Medicaid/CHIP coverage

Together they'd make care virtually unavailable nationwide, including in shield law states

Y'all the Democrats are fighting to "reign in" domestic terrorists. To "reign in" child kidnappers. To "reign in" murderers. My heroes 😍

They're building concentration camps. But thank god we have democrats to "reign that in" to an ~acceptable threshold~

Words, like Chuck, fail to meet the moment.
This is why there must be a full, independent investigation of every incident that ICE has been involved in. DHS and this administration cannot be trusted to carry out investigations on their own.

And it’s why Democrats are fighting to rein in ICE.

ICE “left” Chicago in November, but they’ve disappeared three people from my community in two days this week.

Don’t believe the hype about them, leaving Minnesota, either.

It is not a coincidence that the Minnesota occupation is “ending” right before the Senate is due to vote on funding for ICE.

The fascists want you to think it’s all over and to disengage, but I hope the strategy backfire as a whole country thinks, “Are they coming here next?”

THE DEMOCRATS NEED TO DEMAND THAT DHS STOP THROWING MONEY AWAY INCARCERATING PEOPLE AND ICE SELLS ALL ITS WAREHOUSES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HEALTHCARE SUBSIDIES

ALL CAPS

FUCK THIS TORTUROUS INVESTMENT IN TORTURE AND DEATH

INVEST IN CARING

Jha says Oz is doing "a very good job overseeing CMS."

What that job has looked like: rescinding emergency abortion care protections, proposing a nationwide ban on trans youth healthcare, gutting Medicaid, and wrapping it all in a racialized fraud narrative

When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

These comments...

The ppl in power continue to speak openly of their eugenicist agenda & it's a funny joke to y'all.

Chron ill/disabled ppl are dying en masse. 'Back to normal' fueled this and y'all happily complied.

It's why fascism has escalated so quickly. HELLO.

You're part of the problem.

THEY ARE BUYING UP WAREHOUSES TO HOLD HUMAN BEINGS IN DETENTION INDEFINITELY.

I feel crazy at how everyone is acting like this is normal. These are concentration camps being built right before our eyes. These buildings are not meant to house human beings. People will be caged like cattle and die.

We're still in covid times. Anyone 'not' is just engaged in denialism. Extreme measures = what rags like NPR go to to convince ppl still getting covid that the pandemic is 'over.' Meanwhile chron ill ppl like me have been forced into extrm meas. like NEVER GOING OUTSIDE in order to survive EUGENICS.

The media should be PRAISING these athletes who know and understand the importance of public health. These articles should be about how they are setting an example for EVERYONE. And how we should all take their lead.

Instead their positioning is: “look at these fucking weirdos”

"Detention centers"

We've already normalized concentration camps.

It's already happened.

MSM, who are reliable for normalizing fascism, have led this charge.

And ppl are just following their lead.

Stop fucking saying this and call it what it is.

Think for yourselves.

When you see unhoused people asking for money what you should see is a fracturing of the social contract where an issue (housing) that should be addressed on a municipal or statuary level is instead foisted on individuals in a way designed o put callouses on their souls
man I’m sorry to be all corny here but when I see a “the city is beautiful! There’s more to it than homeless people!” I gotta say you know who’s also beautiful? People who have no place to live & are trying to get by in a system that has turned its back on them & if you don’t see that that’s on you
