Not A Willing Sacrifice

Procreate digital painting, ~10hrs

Not an obvious Pride piece, but it is one to me so I'm glad I finished before the month was over
A white baby lamb against a dark background with a solid red halo. Done in a painterly style, the lamb cries out in pain. It's visible eye lifeless as what would be tears and spit are blood. A solid red cross goes through it's neck with a stream of blood coming from the wound.

More people should talk about their art, and what it means to create, for them.
Running commentaries on a sketch, detailed run-downs of how someone shaded their claws, or the narrative significance of a burnt out candle.

the ability to draw isn’t the interesting part of the job. any asshole can learn how to draw; it’s just teaching your eyes how to translate into hand language.

the interesting stuff comes after you know the controls, when you input your interests and life experiences, but you need to HAVE some!
