Hi @flexibits.com, why is adding attachments a premium feature on Fantastical when I can do the same on the stock Calendar app? I can add attachments to my events on the Calendar app but can’t view them on Fantastical?

I’m listening to the @talkscaredpod.bsky.social episode with @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social and towards the end they talk about a collection of novellas called Nice Is Just Another Word for Terrible (I think I got the name right) but I don’t see any reference to this collection anywhere online?

@globalcomix.com How do I turn off promotional notifications? I didn’t consent to these and I never want them.

The art in Storm #2 by @lukaswerneck.bsky.social is just incredible. Would pick this one up just for the art, but luckily it’s also pretty good.

Ultimate X-Men #1 is just absolutely perfect; everything I wanted & more. Gorgeous art, intriguing story, horror vibes (???) - Peach Momoko absolutely knocks it out of the park

For the last few weeks I've been working with Chris Barkley @cmzhang42.bsky.social of @file770.bsky.social on a report about censorship in the 2023 Hugo Awards.

Leaked emails and files indicate authors and works deemed “not eligible” for the awards were removed due to political considerations. 1/3

Am the only one who is constantly accidentally hitting the “•••” while scrolling? Just me?

Me, with ~250 unread books on my Kobo.

Also me, starting Dune for the third time in as many years 🤓

I must have an obsessive personality because in the last few weeks I’ve bought everything I can get my hands on by @jamesthefourth.bsky.social. Dracula was my gateway comic into his mind, and it just keeps getting amazing.

When did the average person become so distrusting and frankly hostile to experts who have spent their whole lives working/studying in a field? We saw it with COVID, and we’re seeing it now in Saskatchewan with the pronoun debacle.

Grabbed a copy of Our Share of Night by Mariana Enriquez - really looking forward to starting this one. It’s on sale on the Kobo store right now; not sure about others.

To be clear, I don't actually want a diversity of opinions.

I want smart, well thought out opinions, with a greater or lesser diversity of them depending on the whether thoughtful, smart takes all converge in one general area or diverge on key points.

If the opinions are dumb, I don't want them.

Just wanted to shout out @attackerman.bsky.social for his incredibly insightful comments on the Cerebro podcast. I’m a new-ish X-Men fan and hearing your thoughts on both Magneto & Prof. Xavier has me looking so much deeper into the comics. Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Also me: “Why is my battery draining so fast?”

Is there a gaming, sci-fi, horror, comicbook community on Bluesky? Essentially - is there a nerdy community here? 😂 😂

I don’t understand how someone in 2023 can continue to use Twitter. As a Canadian, Musk’s attack of CBC seemingly at the behest of the CPC is shockingly villainous. Like *cartoon-level* villain.
