Feels like Gary & co need to get comfortable with the idea of racing in the rain again - the tyres exist to make it safe. MGP and TT won't survive if everyone knows races will get camcelled any time it's spitting somewhere on the island. Teams, riders and fans won't bother turning up.
Rain means the final race of this year's MGP and Classic TT festival has been cancelled.

Feels like Gary & co need to get comfortable with the idea of racing in the rain again - the tyres exist to make it safe. MGP and TT won't survive if everyone knows races will get camcelled any time it's spitting somewhere on the island. Teams, riders and fans won't bother turning up.
Senior TT cancelled - having never ridden a 200bhp motorbike, I'm not going to argue if some of the best racers in the world say the wind's too much.
Probably needs a re-evaluation of the schedule though, given that's 2 years in a row trying to run 10 races and failing #iomtt

Over at Thruxton for the BTCC today so selfishly quite pleased the Senior #iomtt has been delayed. Weather here has finally decided what it's doing - unfortunately it's decided I'm getting soaked.

New lap record and no. 33 for MD. Chuffed to see Dom on the podium as well, well deserved. Mega ride for Baz Furber too.
