In addition to this, I learned more about forecasting, especially how to identify strong to severe storms on radar with a variety of products and some of the key ingredients they look for. Thank you, Ruskin, for having me this past week. I’ve truly had a phenomenal experience.

and the issuance of statements, advisories, and warnings, it’s been an unforgettable experience. I also got to see how they produce the grid forecast, collaborate with partners like emergency management and the media, and monitor social media for local storm reports.

Additionally, another weak tornado touched down in Venice, and two waterspouts were reported in the Tampa area. From launching weather balloons, handling daily climate reports, and calling the dam for lake level data to be integrated into products, to monitoring radar…

It’s okay, I’m trying to get it figured out every day. Hopefully I’ll have it back soon.
