11:10AM: Heavy showers continue to move through the area

9:50AM: Additional round of showers and storms heading for Troy/Lovejoy/Uwharrie/Abner and eventually towards Biscoe/Star area.

Rounds of showers and storms will continue through 4pm. Heavy rain and flooding will be the main concerns. An isolated strong storm can’t be ruled out as well.

WEDNESDAY: Multiple rounds of showers and storms will be possible after 9AM through the evening hours. In addition to this, an isolated strong to severe storm can’t be ruled out. The main threat will be damaging winds and isolated flooding.

The past little bit has been nothing short of incredible, volunteering around 50 hours alongside some of the best meteorologists in Ruskin, FL. I certainly picked an exciting week to visit. An EF1 tornado and winds exceeding 70–75 mph came from the same storm causing damage in the area.
