For the 1%, coaching. For the rest, a poor simulacrum.

Thank you both. The reporting I read was weirdly unclear about it, suggesting it signalled a rise in the far right, when to me it looked like the left block saw the biggest gain (this was the Guardian and BBC) so I was a little confused. Appreciate the comment

Or both, obviously, though I think the emphasis should remain on the latter

I don't disagree with your sentiment, but why ridicule the propagandized vs the propagandists?

Even when you tell it to stop, it even keeps kissing your ass while telling you it isn't.

And they'll get what they want, unfortunately

Definitely I think a huge part of it. There are others if I were to guess: shiny new toy syndrome - just this desire to be cutting edge. The fallacy that technology is somehow more secure than people (even with NDAs, let's say). What else?

It's an interesting question though: why are companies happy to pay for an AI to do it, but not a human to do it? If the price is the same and end product is the same, what's the appeal of an AI?

I think switching your entire team is always going to lead to disjointed performances. But the point is you can slot 3, 4 even 5 into the first team over an extended period and not miss a beat, which has not been the case since, well, ever

You know that whether we're losing or 4-0 up, Saka's coming on at 60

Absolutely

And now you add throw ins (though we're not good at them ... yet) and suddenly you can't just prevent danger by narrowly avoiding a corner. The only way to be safe is to punt upfield or defend higher to keep us out of those areas entirely.... Which creates gaps to run into. Conundrum for opponents

I think the pundit class see it as something other teams will "figure out" but 3 seasons in they haven't. In any case, I don't see why it's any different to open play.

I'd argue they both lost for the same reason, which you actually called out for Hillary.

Their team, on an individual basis, doesn't look too poor on paper. And yet!
