I worked in an indie for 5 years & this kind of discount is a truly massive deal. Big bookstores can afford deeper discounts for a lot of reasons including getting bigger discounts at source; indies have such slim margins to begin with. Always recommend supporting yours!

If an action is not intended to block, shut down, or stop some form of power in a real sense, it is useless or worse. Boycotts, work stoppages, blocking buildings, MA groups, etc need to be the floor for effective action at this point. Clever signs will not cut it.
