Nothing like Disney music to get shit done.

Very proud of our little town's creativity. Me & some other locals are creating more arts events, and this is our first pop up show. Hopefully the first of many more to come.

My mental health is at the lowest it's been in aaaages, but right now, I'm enjoying a cup of tea in my garden.
Could be worse🌿

Today I did a drawing exercise from my course. It was white on white (effectively “blind”) AND with my non-dominant hand. I then covered it with a watercolour wash to reveal the drawing.

The garden was full of pī/bees and pūrerehua/butterflies today. Unfortunately, I was stuck inside cleaning, but at least they got to enjoy the garden!

The end result. Acceptable for a first try!

So I ended up going outside and playing in the garden, starting to explore different ways of making art with flora.

I'm supposed to be tidying up after our art trail weekend, but the weather is too good. I'm sure the mess will still be here after the sun's gone down.
