King Trump, first of his name, protector of the realm, has now been officially crowned—at least according to the White House’s own social media. Meanwhile, he accuses Ukraine of ‘starting’ the war that began when Russia invaded them, as if defending oneself is the real crime. This is not OK!

(1/3) "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,"

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?" - Isaiah 58:6

(1/3, Scripture to be continued, this passage itself is too long for a single post)

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34-35

As Christians, what are we known for? (1/3)

"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?" - James 2:15-16

"When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God." - Leviticus 19:33-34

A throwback to the OT today (1/2)

"At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." - Matt. 24:23-24

This is Jesus speaking. Be vigilant. (1/2)

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matt. 22:37-39

All other commands flow out of these. Who is your neighbor? *Everyone*

"Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter." - Matt. 7:21

Not all who claim to be Christians are, and volume doesn't mean truth. This chapter gives great info on how to tell the difference.
