I’m from RI where our entire congressional delegation is D. I am in no position to convince Rs of anything. My rep and senators need to do that. That’s their job (as is yelling at Schumer and Jeffries). Maddeningly, pleas to them to do their jobs are useless. They do not care at all

They can already run on stuff that polls well. Tax the wealthy and corporations. Social Security. Health insurance (“Medicare for all”?). Clean air/water. Cheaper housing, power, and food. Safe roadways. Good public transportation! All of those things help everyone.

Ah, there we go. Another Republican who knows nothing about anything. The party of ignorance.

What looks fraudulent? Is he saying that no more votes should be counted once a Republican has a lead? It’s not fraud just because you lost. And, as always, shocking that he’s able to even comment on the issue since he’s repeatedly claimed to be completely ignorant of the world around him.

Stop dealing with Republicans and start giving them ultimatums. Your (R) Senate “colleagues” are all on board with everything from masked Gestapo to openly rigged elections. And all you and your (D) colleagues do about it is enable more of it! Do your job. Do what’s right. End the dictatorship.

The whole reason this is being discussed is because ICE unilaterally decided in a memo last year that they could operate outside of the Fourth Amendment.
ICE's Fourth Amendment-free search policy, Minnesota church protest charges, and more
The Trump administration's cruel, lawless immigration enforcement efforts were on full display this week. So was the pushback.

Ambivalence is support.

The whole argument about warrants is only an argument because they don’t want to be accountable and due process takes time. So ICE (and, in their minds) all law enforcement should be able to decide who is “criminal” and administer any punishment they choose, without judicial oversight. Eliminate ICE

Since the question was very specific, I’d report the response as Johnson being unable to answer the question and ignorant of Constitutional law. If he wants to constantly claim ignorance, report that he’s obviously ignorant.

Judicial warrants should be required to arrest anyone.
February 3, 2026 at 3:51 PM
Meanwhile, American citizens are routinely harassed and even arrested (with no basis in law), thousands of people are detained (including children…”rapists and murderers and sex traffickers”???), and a literal rapist/pedophile is currently POTUS. Perhaps Corey Lewandowski is completely full of sh**?

So he’s giving AI control of his exploding rocket company?

Not a chance that’s happened anywhere.
February 2, 2026 at 7:54 PM
I’m surprised Mike Johnson can comment on this. Is this the only thing of which he’s aware or are there others?
February 2, 2026 at 7:51 PM
It’s the same playbook for them. And it’s where media fails us. Aside from daily press, Republicans are on national network shows every weekend spouting unchallenged evidence-free assertions about everything from “paid protesters” to “rapists and murderers”. Does the MSM know they can ask questions?

This is the kind of “conservative thought” that was being systematically suppressed by institutions of higher learning. Clearly, this kind of learned intellectualism must be…um…celebrated?

Expel the entire group for fomenting gun violence.

ICE and/or CBP should not even have tear gas. Their “job” is to ensure legal immigration. Crowd control is not their purview. Not to mention that any measures taken against a peaceful crowd are assault. Local cops need to start arresting these thugs for breaking the law.
