I wish publishers would be more transparent about this. I now assume that every celebrity book has been written by someone else unless I'm told otherwise.

Oh, I’ve been there. Got given a table once, next to a popular author (who was lovely), and the crowds flocked to her table and completely bypassed mine. She was my sole buyer, bless her. I think she felt sorry for me.

I have an idea and then I write an outline. Each book is unique as to how much planning I do beforehand. I write better in sprints, a couple of hours at a time, usually in the morning and/or evening. I use post-its, but fairly sparingly, in the drafting phase.
