Readers already balk at book prices. They want books cheap (99p, anyone?😬)

It’s *essential* the public understand the true value of writers and books. They aren’t cheap “merch”.

Day 3 of being on bluesky. I’m not part of the exodus, just here to connect to the book community. Lovely seeing lots of posts about books, but sneaky accounts I have no interest in are still littering my feed. Lots of negativity too, but I realise that’s subjective. Jury is still out for me.
