Writer, amateur/terrible musician, demonic cat survivor. He/him.
I watched him take that full downswing from J.D. Martinez. He ran away screaming (the mics picked it up), his arm dangling limply at his side. It was horrific. I thought for sure his career was over. And he played again later that season. A beast.

Delroy Lindo wasn’t nominated for an Oscar because it would be unfair to the competition. We all just collectively know he gave the best supporting actor performance that year.

Also an underrated musician. His debut album, Private Radio (largely cowritten with and produced by Marty Stuart) is one of my all-time favorites.

But he did have a bad case of loving twos.

Every scene between Robert Redford and Max von Sydow should be required viewing in any acting class. Just two masters bouncing off each other. Their chemistry is exceptional considering they're antagonists. The elevator scene is just a chef's kiss of tension.

That said, as I'm sure most of you already know, and I suspected for a while: this is arguably the greatest spy thriller of all time. I'm genuinely surprised I hadn't seen it before. I've known about it. That's my bad, people. I let y'all down.

Mainstream country music used to be unafraid to go places. It’s currently in another boot-licking phase. I also have a rant about how white male Rogers went from pop to country no problem, but Beyoncé makes one country album and everyone loses their mind.

This is probably my favorite series of all time, and I rank it 4th out of 5 (I'm counting Police Squad). I've got the third film last. But I love all of them unequivocally.
