At Councilman Conways campaign launch in congressional primary. Great to meet him in person and get a pulse on his vibes. He’s a chill dude, who I sincerely believe wants to represent all of Baltimore. I could tell he was present with me & you don't always feel that way talking to elected officials.

Sometimes Autism looks like when you are having a great morning and really enjoying yourself in Mexico City but your face looks like this. That's contentedness...lol

represents #Baltimore in the U.S congress. His relationship with AIPAC flies in the face of what I know the majority of activists in Baltimore want. If Marjorie Taylor Greene can call it a genocide. Why can't Congressman Mfume do the same? It's a genocide.

Home vegetable garden in Baltimore. 4x8 ft. Produces more than enough tomato. kale, herbs, cucumber, peppers, and egg plant to cover most of our produce consumption for the summer. I'm planning on expanding to a second 4 x 8 ft set up to have enough to share with our community fridge network!

Join your neighbors this Monday @5pm @Balimore's McKeldin Square to peacefully rally and march to the federal building to tell ICE to stop abducting our neighbors and threatening EVERYONE'S due process rights. We must exercise our freedom of assembly and speech to protect them. #eyesonice

I love gardening. Growing plants to eat and decorate my home with is dope and Baltimore gives us an amazing climate for that. Just like plants, people thrive when they are provided with the right environment with the right supports. People need autonomy, belong, competence (ABC). Plants need N-P-K.

Colors in my garden! 🌺🌸🌼

Forced perspective making them look big and beautiful, but they are too tiny for a vase.

From my pollinator wildflower patch in my backyard garden in Baltimore City.

Clearly Baltimore City has fertile soil for beauty to blossom.

We've got a couple of varieties of sunflower with arugula in an arrangement. "Dinosaur" kale, cherry tomatoes, rainbow chard, and a little bit of lettuce. It was lovely to go outside when the rain started and harvest and then arrange everything. All home grown in Baltimore City and arranged by me!

Hoping this new Pope Leo will flex his new palpal authority at these "Catholics" trying to turn the country into a christofascist apartheid state. The Bible was clear on how we should treat other people, and it certainly ought not be with the disdain that the oligarchs and their pawns have for us.

Our non-profit anchor institutions earn profits, but don't have to pay taxes. It costs Baltimore City at least $41 million dollars per year. Residents and small businesses pay property taxes towards city services and so should they! Every dollar that they don't contribute is covered by taxpayers.

Folks in Baltimore City are organizing to improve the Payment in Lieu of Taxes PILOT process that is currently used to negotiate with wealthy universities and hospitals to have them provide some sort of $$$ contribution for their use of public resources. Plz join & support an improved PILOT process!

Thanks Tia @urbanreadsbooks.bsky.social for bringing the people together to say #NotoRacism in #Baltimore. Their hate is just bringing us closer and closer together, and we WILL win. Our collective voice grows louder thanks to leaders like Tia!

We need our neighbors to engage by creating environments that build their intrinsic motivation. I'm observing peaceful protests like #TeslaTakeDown provide autonomy, relatedness, and competence, making folks more open to learning; engaging in future actions; and open to new folks sharing info.

Hey friends and neighbors! A local bookstore is being harassed for spreading literacy in a community that has long suffered economic and social injustice. It's obvious fascists and neo-nazis do not like this. Lets #standtogether to say #NotInBaltimore on April 26th @10:30am @Urban Reads Bookstore

Visited @vanhollen.senate.gov with a fellow Returned Peace Corps Volunteer to share our stories of impact Peace Corps service had on us and the impact we have at home. I've taught 100+ immigrants English and I've trained over 100 teachers to excel at doing the same here in Baltimore City since 2018

Today RPCVs stood with Representative John Garamendi to say #handsoff Peace Corps. We were there to share our stories of service with one another, and we agreed all #RPCVs must tell our stories of the positive impacts we have on our communities. #PeaceCorps is an investment in American leadership!
