Why is that?

While it feels appropriate to be pessimistic right now, there is a non-zero chance that Embiid and PG get healthy during the season. If Embiid is back to All-NBA level and PG is playing like an all-star, how would you feel about this Sixers team?

Wonderful! Congrats

Sure. But, this is not the case in most countries. It is an active choice to make this information public. It doesn’t have to be this way.

In the 90s, the office smoking policy was “gegenseitige Rücksichtnahme”, which meant the boss got to smoke and the rest of us just had to deal with it. I can’t remember if we had a lüften policy, but that probably would have helped.

We don’t want that jawn!

I’m glad you go a chance to visit. My wife is from Schwerin. We were married there and visit often. It really is beautiful.

I see what happened. I’m still using an old school TiVo. It must have had the wrong schedule and was only scheduled to record from 4:30-6pm. I planned to watch on delay, so I noticed too late. I’ll double check next time. It looks like CW did show the whole thing.

Any idea why it doesn’t start on CW until 4:30 ET? Will CW show everything?

Great run by Dalilah!

I’m glad I didn’t take that “easy money” bet on Moraa. Tough race for her.

For my sanity, I just assume that pick is gone. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they get to keep it.

Nice! Mine too. My German wife does much of the cooking here in the U.S., but I provide the German bread. After years of hearing complaints about the bread, I started baking. I’ll have to look into beer next.

Getting sidetracked is easy. Getting back at it is hard. Congrats on taking that first step.

I love to train, I love to run, and I love to watch running live and on tv, but I haven’t run with others much in the last 30 years. For me, running is a wonderful, yet solitary experience.

I like this post, but I can’t personally identify with the shared aspects of running.

An absolute disgrace!

For those of us who didn’t run college t&f, what is the inside joke about 4x800m splits not equaling the overall time? Do runners commonly cheat a bit when posting their splits, or was there a single, well-known race when this happened?

The Sixers will be back. I’m playing the long game. But I have started watching more football. The Eagles are fun to watch.

Hello Ute. And hello kitty!

The women were strong all day, jumping very well in the team competition, and securing silver and bronze in the individual competition. They set the table for Wellinger’s clutch performance.

I’m old enough to remember the Wayne Gretzky trade in 1988. I was just as shocked back then as I am now.

Wow! That’s so exciting. I look forward to it!

Fantastic enjoy! You never know where this will lead. Our oldest was born and raised in the U.S., but she grew up speaking English and German. She’s now getting her Masters in classical voice performance at the HMT Leipzig.
