They added a new “we have to stand together and fight” song, but the lion shows up and undoes the effect of the song as soon as it’s over. The story is not at all affected (because you can’t change the story) and now we have this unimportant song thrown in

I love Michelle Yeoh. I am NOT doing the stupid filmtwt anti-Michelle thing. But unfortunately she didn’t sing very well in this *musical*, and imo it made a significant impact. Not her fault, for the record

ALAYM was directed horrendously. She sings her verse, which is theoretically directed at Fiero, out into the void while he shuffles around papers on the desk. Baffling

The performances are good, but they don’t work as well as they did in Part 1 because they didn’t have solid character arcs to work with

I have also resorted to ranking because if I try to rate every movie I see, I just end up thinking about the rating the whole time I'm watching it 🙃
