finding out that Perpetual passed the million play mark this past week, which feels amazing. Its the first song I released post-transition, the first song as DV-i with my own vocals and a big stylistic detour to boot. Somebody even made a Corrector Yui amv tiktok for it (@VictimsOfPower on twitter)

Was looking at some of the Power Dolls 1 stuff around online (since I mostly knew stuff from 2) and I really like some of the X3 variants as well. I'm presuming this is also one of the recon variants, though I don't know exactly which one. I presume this close up is meant to be the same unit.

i *still* can’t stop thinking about the orchid so i modified my renoise chord progression generator script and mapped the modes to a grid controller and wow this was some very productive cope (example kinda awkward bc i was holding a camera lol)

In the past year one of the tiny sad things i've noticed in this hellish world is the fascist co-opting of condensed serifs (the white house branding uses Instrument Serif, derived from Garamond), and I want to take them back.

I say this a lot but this is truly one of the best things that's crossed my path in a good while. Game Watch only had two issues ever (as far as I can tell), and this is the rarer and more expensive of the two.

this era of bowie makes me think of two subgenres that I've coined for my own use:
-Boomer Cyberdelia (boomer musicians get really into CD-ROMs, Mondo 2000 and the web)
-Accidental Ridge Racer (boomer musicians get really into trance but use their old chord sensibilities so it comes out like VGM)
