Imagine being a Labour MP and thinking that using "lefties" as a slur is going to win back voters. Not only have they lost all identity, they're also utterly clueless.

There's something very amusing about the hand wringing and outrage from the liberal commentariat and centrist dads about Starmer's Enoch Powell wannabe speech yesterday, when those on the left told you it'd happen all along.

Would like my first bluesky tweet in ages be to say that I am utterly appalled at labours disability benefit reforms and that all who support it should be ashamed

It is cruelty against us, plain and simple

This is a seminal moment: a Labour government cutting disability benefits. Not just continuing Tory levels. Cutting.

This comes after a week of speculation, itself an act of cruelty by a government toying with people’s dignity.

These cuts are disgraceful - and they will cost lives.
