a lot of orgs have basically decided they’d rather “survive” as fascist propaganda and live in a fascist country than go down swinging for a small chance to keep a semblance of democracy. and you should never give any of them a dime ever again

I do not like Liquid Glass. I wish you could disable the outline on every app icon, it is driving me crazy.

SwiftUI is janky AF. I am regretting not going UI Kit ☹️

Sending rejection emails gets me every time because I have been on the receiving end and know what it feels like. But not sending them is even worse. I try to be positive and highlight strengths, and keep the hope alive for the next right thing. Because there’s always a next right thing.

Someone is spoofing my number and calling all of New York City. The number of people who call back/text a random number who called them is absolutely insane. Going to have to turn my phone off 🙃

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

I’ve had to work on React Native projects for the past 6 months and I’m super pumped to be heading back to native. It’s a well intentioned yet frustrating framework and fails miserably in many regards, but hey, you can have crappy apps for iOS AND Android for less. Anyway, UIKit here I come!

I recently joined an ensemble and started playing sax again somewhat quietly in a concert music setting but today I was alone at home and I really let it rip for the first time in a decade and man it felt great. Really therapeutic. Going to need to do that daily for the next four years or so.
