It is frustrating that a significant portion of the episode is just people complaining (including the journalist) about random contruction-related issues that would be present regardless of the bike lanes, landscaping improvements, or pedestrianization that's happening.

“Active Transportation” is the term that makes the most sense. In fact, when I contacted my Edmonton city councillor to express my support for the 132ave project, in her reply she actually referred to it as that.
I see as many e-scooters as bikes on the 132ave “bike lanes” recently.
