I'm usually very strict once I decide that my wallet is the only stick I have. I still don't buy French wine because the restarted nuclear tests - and maybe I should rethink that now... I've been boycotting Israel for about 8 years now.... but if I decide I should not buy American things.... oy...

Yeah, I agree, it is really hard to find alternatives. I like groups, I like sharing idea's and I think diversity usually makes everything better. But I also feel I've been lazy, and thus allowed the few sharks to eat up the many fish in social media and now I can't find a better one.
