Don't forget to chew your biscuits.
That's the part I don't get. What's the business model with all these shifting news orgs? Do they think they have an infinite viewer base? Like, the people who want biased news are already watching Fox or worse. So, you lose moderates and liberal viewers by being shills. Who do you gain?

A solid movie. First half was pretty slow, but it makes up for it in the second half.

So, John Noble ate and swallowed razor blades and didn't notice them. And here I can't finish a brownie with a surprise nut in it because of texture problems. Is that something that you lose with age?

LOVE their reactions to that big skull thing in the sky. They were clearly not told what it was they were reacting to when they were told to act.

She even told him they were going to live! And then he got knocked out of the house and was surprised that he wasn't dead! CLEAR signs that he was going to die. This movie defied all the stereotypes!

Why was Rodg using the barbed wire to climb when there are clear hand and foot holds all up that wall.
January 1, 2026 at 4:37 AM
This who "remember" scene must have been ad-libbed.
January 1, 2026 at 4:31 AM
Shit. She just reassured Rodg that they were going to make it. He's DEFINITELY not going to make it, now.

That's some fast stonework. Or casting, maybe? That's solid haunting service killing AND providing personalized tombstones that will only be accurate for one night all in the same warehouse sized house.
January 1, 2026 at 4:27 AM
Well, dang, there goes my dream of Rodg and the Goomba coming to the CW this fall.
January 1, 2026 at 4:25 AM
Why do these people keep finding ways out of the house and then going back in?
January 1, 2026 at 4:24 AM
I do appreciate how they are just letting every actor munch on the scenery, though. This movie started slow but is finishing pretty strong.
January 1, 2026 at 4:23 AM
I really hope that Rodg and the Goomba survive this and then join up to do buddy movies.

Stooge went on to have a successful chiropractic practice.
January 1, 2026 at 4:14 AM
That's a good point. If her dress just had pockets, this whole movie would have been different.
January 1, 2026 at 4:12 AM
Kind of appreciating that the goomba is the only one with any sense in this movie, though.
January 1, 2026 at 4:10 AM
OK, the nipple thing was weird.
January 1, 2026 at 4:09 AM
Wanted to keep it classy.
January 1, 2026 at 4:06 AM
I was just going to comment about how they needed some filler to get up to 90 minutes and told the goth niece to go to town.
January 1, 2026 at 4:05 AM
As we're going I'm remembering less and less of this movie, so either I was paying less and less attention, getting drunker, or both. I feel like I would have remembered this weird got dance scene if I'd been paying attention.
January 1, 2026 at 4:04 AM
Impactful, though! We're still talking about it forty years later!

Twins should have had a band. Hair band, not metal. Wasted opportunity for that era.
January 1, 2026 at 3:58 AM
Or the twins. They could do a rock PSA with that band they had. Or was that Zartan?
January 1, 2026 at 3:49 AM
Snake Eyes seems like the obvious choice for something like that, but I fear his PSAs might be a little short on messaging.
January 1, 2026 at 3:44 AM
If I were "Rodg," I don't think I'd wander too far from the group.
