Tonight we're watching It's a Wonderful Knife. In honor of Rob Reiner? Just wasn't anything of his that seemed appropriate for what we do here while drunk, so we're going the Christmas slasher route instead. #sloshedcinema

Tonight we're watching Mortal Kombat in honor of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. And because it's a boss movie with Christopher Lambert playing the whitest ass embodiment of a Japanese thunder god in a way that you could only get away with in the 90s. #sloshedcinema
December 14, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Tonight we're going to give From Beyond a whirl. I'd never heard of it before, but it has Jeffrey Combs in it, and I love me some Jeffrey Combs. Sadly, I'm the one who found it and my track record has been just god awful, so hopefully Weyoun can save me rep. #sloshedcinema

Tonight we're watching Highway to Hell. For some reason they let me pick again despite the fact that my last two choices were all but unwatchable. I'm not hopeful that this is going to go any better, if I'm being honest. #sloshedcinema

Tonight we're watching what I bet is a classic in Munchies. Starting off with Star Trek talk, so it's living up to my expectations so far. #sloshedcinema
October 26, 2025 at 2:30 AM
Tonight we will be watching what looks to be an unheralded classic called "Spookies." I make this assumption based only on the cover art for the movie on Shudder, which is . . . suggestive. #sloshedcinema
October 19, 2025 at 2:39 AM
Tonight in our ongoing effort to honor all the greatest horror movies of the 80s in this most hallowed of months, we're going to watch Lifeforce. Not sure what our definition of "greatest" is at this point. Probably just "haven't seen yet." It might also involve nudity levels. #sloshedcinema
October 5, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Tonight we're going to give Night of the Reaper a whirl on Shudder. Don't know a thing about it, which is always a great start! #sloshedcinema
September 28, 2025 at 1:54 AM
Tonight we're kicking off the Halloween season with Pieces, an 80s slasher that claims that what we'll see "can't even be imagined." I'm excited because I'm pretty jaded at this point with all the things I have seen, and it'll be nice to see something new! #sloshedcinema
September 14, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Tonight, in honor of Graham Greene, we're going to watch The Monkey--a recent horror movie, I think--because he just really didn't do anything that would be bad fun to watch. His stuff was just too good. #sloshedcinema

I've been stumping for us to revisit Highlander 2 for like five years now, and tonight is finally the night. I hope it lives up to my terrible expectations for it! #sloshedcinema

Gonna keep the Bruce Campbell theme running and watch My Name Is Bruce tonight. A fun one I haven't seen in forever. #sloshedcinema
August 24, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Tonight we're watching Bruce Campbell in Sundown. It seems as though I bailed on this movie once upon a time at the 1h19m mark, but I honestly don't remember a stitch of it. I just can't imagine ever bailing on a Bruce movie, even if it's an unworthy vehicle for his talents, though. #sloshedcinema
August 17, 2025 at 2:32 AM
Tonight we're watching Drop Zone in honor of Malcolm-Jamal Warner. There were a lot of choices for celebrity deaths this week. Ozzy had a couple movies, but nothing anybody would want to watch (except, weirdly, several kids movies) and we're not giving money to friggin asshat Hogan. #sloshedcinema
July 27, 2025 at 2:02 AM
Tonight we're going to do something weird. We're going to watch a movie we want to watch! Companion. Not sure what it's about and I haven't heard anything about it, good or bad, but it's new, which is something I haven't had much to do with for a couple years now! #sloshedcinema
July 13, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Tonight we're watching The Getaway in honor of Michael Madsen. We wanted to watch Species because . . . well . . . boobs, honestly, but it wasn't even available to rent and we didn't want to try and sync up something on Pluto. Honestly, Hollywood, get your shit together! #sloshedcinema
July 6, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Tonight we're giving Dolph his due and watching a movie that we've been saying we're going to watch for what seems like forever (but is probably only a few weeks), Dark Angel. A 1990 classic that I'd never heard of, which is always surprising when it's from this time and starring someone like Dolph.

Turned on the Royals/Padres game and wondering where @pftompkins.bsky.social was in late March of 1995, cause Dylan Cease has a certain look about him . . . .
June 21, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Tonight in honor of Loretta Swit we're watching Beer. Because Whoops Apocalypse wasn't available anywhere. Never seen either of them. I'm . . . hopeful? It has Rip Torn and David Alan Grier in it, too, so maybe it will work out. #sloshedcinema
June 8, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Tonight we're going to watch House in honor of George Wendt. Because Cheers didn't get its six seasons and a movie like it deserved. #sloshedcinema
May 25, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Now we're doing Alone in the Dark. The 2005 Uwe Boll probably masterpiece that isn't the same kind of problematic as 9th Gate was. I'm sure this is the Boll movie that is quite good and very watchable, though. #sloshedcinema
May 11, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Tonight we're watching 9th Gate. Don't think I've ever seen it. Really wish I had before it became known that Depp is a turd. Hate giving turds traffic. But Prime is relentless in pushing it on me every time a movie ends, so I blame peer pressure for this one. #sloshedcinema
May 11, 2025 at 2:10 AM
Tonight we're watching The Serpent and the Rainbow. I've never seen it and I only know two things about it. #sloshedcinema
May 4, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Tonight we're watching Phantasm 2. FINALLY giving Reg his due. We all have to eventually. Might as well get it over with. #sloshedcinema
April 27, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Tonight we're finally getting around to honoring Val Kilmer with his not-finest work, Batman Forever. Honestly, it was tough finding a turd in Kilmer's work (prior to about 2005, when things kinda peaked with Kiss Kiss and then took a heavy slide, unfortunately). #sloshedcinema
