Port Townsend has a few of these Edge Lane Roads. Seem to work pretty well for them in certain contexts.

Fun project for the City of Bothell with one of my favorite collaborators @bmaryman.bsky.social. Replaced pandemic-era eco blocks and road closed signs with these removable bollards. Also fixed up some broken and heaving sidewalk sections to improve accessibility downtown.

This project on 130th is a good example. Grade separated bike lanes are in design and coming soon. We’ll have to wait a couple years for these but in the meantime we have flex posts.

Tonight the @cityofmlt.bsky.social council votes on a contract with Flock “Safety” license plate reader cameras. With all their talk about privacy, what’s in the actual contract is astonishing. It gives Flock the right to share the footage with anyone, including ICE, for essentially any reason.

Finally got to check out Hopua at Terrace Station in MLT. Great spot and walking distance from our light rail station!
