Through the GAPS citizen-science network, we now detect nanoplastics deposition on high-altitude glaciers at tens of ng mL⁻¹.

Not really — Py-GC-MS signals can mimic lipids.
The “plastic” might just be the obesity effect — a fatter brain, not a plastic one.

We sampled, analysed, and are now writing a paper about #nanoplastics in Loch Ness and surrounding rivers. Stay tuned, it is becoming a nice story.

Cleaning capilaries, repairing/servicing ovens and electronics. It is not easy to make TD-PTR-MS contantly run with good efficiency.
I am just waiting to see somebody trying to fast-replicate the work of our labs and the comments about how impossible it is :)
