Kind of curious if anyone was able get past TikTok's self imposed ban last night. I was able to use a VPN to install the app. (I don't normaly do #tiktok.) However, with VPN, removing sim card, turning of location data, I still got blocked by the app. I browsed Romanian TikTok, no problem.

I may be a hater here, but I really don't like how they did the origin of The Voice here. I think there might be a reason I have never read Bryan Herbert.

Thanksgiving Tips:

At dinner bring up the fact that our current, November Thanksgiving Holiday was created by Lincoln in celebration of Union victories in the Civil War.

When dinner devolves into an argument about the Civil War, ask why the South seceded and wait for someone to say tariffs.

So, my wife and I just sat down at the kitchen table to fill out our ballots, as we have been told by many politicians that this is where hard working Americans sit down to make hard decisions. Maple decided to poop and pee in the house while we were voting.

Mastodon is financed by crowdfunding instead of venture capital not because we don't know that venture capital exists, not because we don't have bills to pay, and not because venture capital isn't willing to give money to new social media platforms. VCs don't want a sustainable business, they […]

Earlier this week I had a weird Twitteros flashback to some rando giving me a hard time for saying I didn't think Stannis was a better strategist than Ned.

Like on what basis do we think Stannis is a better strategist? His defeat at the Blackwater where he fell into Tyrion's trap?

The kiddo is watching Hamilton again, and I am reminded that the First Amendment and Second Amendment were originally written in an environment where you could shoot someone in public for slandering your ass.

1/* Season 2 of #ringsofpower was surprisingly better than the first season. The performances were good in season 1, but with the exception of the Elrond/Durrin/Disa plot line and the Stranger/Harfoot plot lines, which I liked, the writing for season 1 is lack luster.

So, I have a "fuck Hasbro" attitude, so I'm not thrilled about the 2024 D&D 5.5e materials, but I came across a couple of articles about how the new DMG will feature a a lot of Greyhawk material, which has made me hyper nostalgic.
