I'd use this while wearing an unvalved P3/100 elastomeric. Because I don't like getting infected. I'd think of it as an auto-oxygen tank that would flip on automatically if my main tank malfunctioned while diving at 50 feet...

In a crowded auditorium, or in a gross-out A&E/ED ward...
