Yea, I am torn between being in awe that the show is as consistently as great as I remembered it being, and being bummed out about the iconic needle drops being replaced. I kind of want to seek out the DVD set.

They replaced a lot of the famous music drops with more recent stuff. It bums me out but I am glad the show can be seen again, so well made. The editing in that show is so awesome. And the performances are top notch. Braugher's Frank Pembleton is one of my all-time favorite characters.
