Musician actor programmer biker raptor. One may be imaginary.
I dunno, maybe. It'd be a bit perverse if my brain is kinda stressing out about not being so stressed...

... but brains are weird.

I've always had pretty good attention to detail in this area, but I'm not a FE specialist. I shouldn't need to point these things out to him!

(while he's fairly new to FE development, he's been doing it a few years now)

Blimey! Yeah, I do think I could shake up my programme a little to include more calisthenics/movement exercises, which could help (once I've healed). I'll speak to my PT.

Ouch! Nasty 😬

I almost did similar while in Sydney for work/holiday in 2023. I brainfarted, missed the last step on hotel stairs, caught the tip of my foot on the floor, and forced my ankle forwards. In front of colleagues. I got away with a bad sprain, nearly took me out of action for a few days.

Heh, impressive! At least it's a story 😛

I'm overall in pretty good shape, and sleeping alright. I'm giving it a rest to heal, and it seems to get better, then something happens again. Really knocks my confidence to get back in the acting and creature performance saddle. Getting older sucks.

But I guess the alternative is worse.

Happy birthday! I know what you mean, I've definitely noticed a rise of clichéd aches and pains now I'm in my forties too, it's almost embarrassing 😛. Hope you have a great day!

Weird....

For every image, even the ones with thumbnails that render tapping on them opens an empty nothing.

I've tried reinstalling the app.

Oh well...

The only time I've not hated Halloween was when I used to visit a friend's, a mini party, we'd dress up + put on a bit of a show. I'd often do the lizard. That was kinda fun.

I hate being at home by myself on Halloween.

Which is why I'm now at the pub, along with many other middle-aged people.

I'm now at the local pub and it's packed with middle-aged people, hehe 😅

Sounds like a good plan.

Large conservatories taking up 50% of the tiny garden overlooked by neighbours. It's really rather frustrating. It really makes me wonder wtf the architects were thinking at the time. How they could possibly think it was an optimal layout. Or even a nice one.

I'm not asking much.

*sigh*

Keep telling myself that. Internally and verbally. Try to overwrite the default reaction. Maybe at some point, I'll actually start to believe it.

I do think I talked myself out of it. Because I do remember having a stronger imagination, and some sense of visualisation. Just not for a long time.
October 28, 2025 at 5:56 PM
I can't visualise at all, which is definitely a factor, but I can't help but wonder if that's partly a symptom too. "I can't visualise", therefore I don't.

Because I do get ideas. Not vivid, or often, but I do.

It sounds dumb, but I'm going to try actively flipping it. "I have an imagination".

Hehe, don't question it, just enjoy it, it's great to see 🙂
