Nier: Replicant is the most lukewarm 7/10 game I think I've ever played.
It has it's moments, but it's brought down by a tedious, boring gameplay loop, and terrible pacing. It's a 35-40 hour game that feels like 80 hours.

Yeah, I think I'm done with DS2. I tried, I really did. I beat like 95% of the game, but at this point I'm just exhausted.
The boss fights at this point are either needlessly cruel, or just boring. Fume Knight is almost a fantasic fight, but the hitboxes are jank and i-frames dont exist

DS2's mid game is a slog holy shit. It mostly suffers by being just... painfully average. Nothing really stands out, it all just blends together. And I've also gotten so used to the game by this point that i'm beating most bosses in under 3 tries
