Whatever "High/Low emission" means here, & putting aside far-fetched conclusions about how our lives will be affected... the plot shows that only one High emission scenario slows down the #AMOC collapse by 100yrs. Shall we aim to reach that scenario? Since it will collapse anyhow 🧪❄️🥼🌊

This @nature.com article delusional hints (ok for Computer Science?): "Identity what you want, interview several potential PIs, get support from other postdocs..."
The reality in physical sciences: Send 100+ job applications, one might work out, that's the right PI for you, period. #AcademicSky 🧪 ❄️
How do I choose a principal investigator for my next postdoc?

Not true! In fact new Data shows no significant signal towards an #AMOC switch-off👇🏽🌊❄️
GOOD NEWS: the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation #AMOC isn't collapsing. 20 yrs of observations don't show any switching off signs & #climate models that show a collapse are based on UNREALISTIC amounts of melting fresh water into the system (likelihood <10% to happen by the end of 2100)🧪🌊
