I think Falcom's Trails in the Sky remake might be pretty transformative.
- Peak CCU in Steam about 6x prior one
- Leading Switch 2 digital sales in JP, showing up in the ranking elsewhere
- Playstation store number of reviews already above all post 2020 entries in the series

That will do. #GAW

@specialsitinvestor.bsky.social since you have been talking about FEC... the bond seems quite interesting to me as well.

2024 was also an interesting year for their mobile division, though I don't know if that will continue in the future, as it was based on the release of many fast followers to successful simulation games.

The one that really played out was the supermarket management sim.

That aside, their main franchises keep showing quite a bit of resiliency, Cooking Simulator aside.

Plus, they are introducing new ones almost annually.

Some nuggets:

PlayWay seems to have finished their experimenting phase and are now refocusing on simulators while keeping the level of investment, after some failures in the city builder space (and whatever Sherwood Builders was)

#GAW US out of stock up again... and Europe too. For the first time, similar levels (close to 40% out of stock percentage) in both places for 40k.

Tariffs or no tariffs, this keeps moving.

Re: #TBLD

Results are bad, as expected, and include big development costs impairment (related with H2 releases performance).

But the structural costs have gone down a lot. I was a bit surprised by the ramp-up in development investments (see cash), but as 3 big games near completion, makes sense.

#GAW Haven't been posting this of late, but kept tracking it. Looks better in the US... but looks like now Europe is the place with more lack of stock.

Methinks someone redirected too many boxes.

Also, importyeti doesn't look exceptional for march, still think they are using more air freight

Soon

Movie Games trying to get a piece of the action on Schedule I is beyond ridiculous, doesn't matter how mildly they put it.
April 10, 2025 at 8:20 PM
And people wonder why I am not all that enthusiastic about Kadokawa's manga IP library...

(all this and a lot more in @josuke.bsky.social's analysis on the manga market for 2024)
March 29, 2025 at 11:49 PM
That was a very EA thing to do (from Blood, Sweat and Pixels)
March 25, 2025 at 10:19 PM
Wow

Schedule I joins R.E.P.O. in the list of indie titles outperforming by A LOT.

Must be starting to creep close to 500k copies already, with that CCU number (also, top 1 in Steam with a fairly low price)

I read this as further confirmation, don't think I am misreading 😂

#GAW Out of stock going up again (including most of the new kill team releases this week sold out in the US), so I don't think sales have collapsed!

US 40k back to 41%
March 23, 2025 at 8:51 AM
Things keep improving, with US 40k inventories at 33.4% of out of stock (best since November!) #GAW

Either sales have collapsed (unlikely, IMHO), or GAW is finally catching up. Europe also has the best numbers since November.

Good

Funnily enough, shipping import data for Games Workshop #GAW into the US is not particularly good, with the first two months down from last year.

I suspect it is partly because they are using air freight a bit more, but no proof of that!

They are definitely selling more, and stock recovering.

Better visualizaton
March 9, 2025 at 10:24 PM
Serious good news in terms of stock for #GAW in the last couple of weeks, seems like they have been able to finally resupply properly all over.

Good :D
March 9, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Big improvement in stock availability though :)
March 1, 2025 at 8:41 PM
How did #GAW's latest set of Warhammer 40k releases go? Well, the most relevant one (and only truly new material) is out of stock everywhere.

Also fun to check the difference in prices. Sorry, USA

Thank you all :D
