I think it's kind of even worse ... they think that art is simply a matter of "expressing good ideas" (and that they have great ideas that unfairly go unexpressed). They don't seem to understand that "good ideas" emerge as the consequences of the challenges of creation, that's where art happens.

3d6 arrange to taste, or 3d6 DTL and change one score to a 14, or there's a thing I do with a deck of cards that also gives similar scores as 3d6 but with a little bit more control.

When I was in high school, my friends and I used to drive a couple hours to a bottling plant that sold Ski by the case. It's a citrus soda with an unusually high amount of caffeine.

A small mirror, for peeking around corners, or avoiding gaze attacks.

I also like the idea of bringing a whistle for signaling or creating a distraction, but I've never seen a player actually use one in a dungeon so far.

Just on Kindle, but it looks like even that's not an option any more.
