Friends from Athens, Ohio who threatened to start a stoner rock band together each time they met at local bars, finally came together to form DUNE in 2011. Influenced by their favorite acts (Sabbath, Kyuss, QOTSA, Sword, Truckfighters).

DUNE updates! DUNE is playing the Athens Community Arts and Music Festival August 1st at the Union. We're also playing the Athens Skate Jam September 20th. And we've booked time early next year to record. We're writing new tunes in the meantime. DUNE is back!!

First DUNE show in years was AMAZING. Packed house. All the bands were fantastic. People kept complementing us all night. Thanks everyone who attended. Thanks to the Court Grill in Pomeroy Ohio, Tears of Olympus, and Sun Dweller for getting the show together. Chloe is the best bartender!

DUNE is not dead. We have a new lead singer. Welcome Erika to DUNE. Our first show in years is this Saturday May 3rd at the Court Grill in Pomeroy, Ohio. It's kinda like a restaurant soft-opening. But, as a fan, you're invited. We're on first at 9pm opening up for Sun Dweller, Tears of Olympus.
