Friends from Athens, Ohio who threatened to start a stoner rock band together each time they met at local bars, finally came together to form DUNE in 2011. Influenced by their favorite acts (Sabbath, Kyuss, QOTSA, Sword, Truckfighters).

DUNE updates! DUNE is playing the Athens Community Arts and Music Festival August 1st at the Union. We're also playing the Athens Skate Jam September 20th. And we've booked time early next year to record. We're writing new tunes in the meantime. DUNE is back!!
