Building bridges with Asia
Soft power then and soft power now….

As #art reflects societal changes, it can also be entangled in political tensions. The Degenerate Art exhibition at Musee Picasso (another FINN Partners client!) in #paris is a clear reminder that political changes can affect all parts of society, and that genuine talent can be crushed by ideology.

When the world’s biggest museum and the Fashion Capitale unite, we enter into the world of magic. The Louvre Couture exhibition has managed to create an extraordinary experience by bringing exceptional fashion pieces into its permanent collections.

When work & passion unite… Out of my 2nd visit to the Dolce & Gabbana exhibition “Du Coeur a la main”. I was both impressed and moved. The mix of creativity, craftsmanship, cultural Sicilian roots, displayed in masterful staging & music is inspirational.

The last @hardfork.bsky.social podcast “https://podcasts.apple.com/fr/podcast/hard-fork/id1528594034?i=1000689951216” is one of the most thought-provoking piece I have heard so far about Elon Musk’s “tech takeover” of Washington.

Thks @telummedia.bsky.social for this interview. Forty years gave me perspective on the comm industry. But the arrival of new tools, geopolitical changes and development patterns in China makes the next 40 years even more exciting.

Great article, touching on the new role of the Chinese diaspora, trends in emigration, and changes in Civil Society. Bravo to Liu Yi and to @thewirechina.bsky.social for ever insightful articles. Good to see expert such as @iandenisjohnson.bsky.social & Orville Schell from Asia Society quoted.
The wave of Chinese emigrants in the Xi Jinping era -- increasingly well-educated, accomplished and affluent -- are finding their voice abroad. This is a brilliant article by Liu Yi at @thewirechina.bsky.social
