I will have to check this out as SOTB is one of my favourite albums ever, in fact I listened to it last night.

Ten years ago when the EU referendum was first announced I genuinely didn’t know that much about the issue. But I looked at the absolute parade of cunts lined up on the Leave side and knew that was not the side I wanted to be on.

Because who else?

This quote from Reform is completely normal and not extraordinarily and unnecessarily specific.

Why just dead people? Let’s all live our lives online and we can have all our friends delivered in this way. It won’t matter whether they are real friends or AI friends after a while. Then when the VR technology catches up we can live in an entirely invented world.

😮

Eze had to slow his run a little, it wasn’t a perfect pass. But let’s be honest, if that had been Foden finishing like that no one would have been talking about the pass.

It was already number one

Tbf it should be a tin of Roses

If you look at it logically, how many times out of ten would you expect an international player to make the pass that Foden made? It’s ten, isn’t it.

How many times out of ten does an international player finish that first time? Well apparently the xG was 0.03!

He should have put Saka in a couple of seconds before but held onto it then passed it to Eze when he had no choice. His pass is slightly short and Eze has to slow his run a little and still somehow digs it out and that is an absolutely sublime finish. No one should be talking about the pass.

And there were two passes in that move. Bellingham’s to Foden was a great pass and barely gets a mention. Wonder why?

Why is it that in Germany there are (almost) no ticket barriers, and travel is stupidly cheap?
November 14, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Watching it again it’s all about the finish. Eze receives the ball slightly behind where he might want to but puts it away without breaking stride. Brilliant goal.

I’m not sure on Watkins. Needs a great second half to the season
November 13, 2025 at 10:19 PM
From what Tuchel has said Foden is there as a false 9, covering for Kane. I agree he wouldn’t get in ahead of any of the players you’ve named above.

It’s quite funny, Anderson played half a season for Bristol Rovers and he was played as a left CAM, all dribbles and classy finishes. Then he goes back to Newcastle and suddenly he’s a great defensive midfielder.

I’ve never watched it (seen lots of clips) despite it being right up my street in theory, because I can’t get over how smug it all feels.
November 13, 2025 at 9:57 PM
He genuinely made it sound like the pass put it on a plate for Eze.
November 13, 2025 at 9:42 PM
Seems far more critical of Saka and Rashford though. Can’t think why.
