A book called Space Mission Analysis And Design, by Larsen & Wertz, affectionately known in the aerospace community as SMAD. The cover has a black and white picture of the earth with a dotted line around it representing an orbit. This really is an extraordinary book, as it encapsulates a huge amount of information about astrodynamics, launch vehicles, the space environment, and the nuts and bolts (literally) of spacecraft construction. And most remarkable, it's easy and fun to read. It's the inspirational cookbook of the new aerospace industry.

In other news for those who enjoy collecting cards, SH2 has been granted such status now - so soon we'll be dropping cards, badges, emoticons and backgrounds. With any luck these will appear next week - depends on how long it takes them to be approved.

TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea

I've had quite a few images for the kitchen posters now, and I've been asked if it's OK to send multiple images.

It is! But so everyone is fairly represented, I've fixed it so the game chooses 3 different artists, then chooses one of their images if there's more than one.
