Road trip update: I'm in New Jersey and decided that I didn't want to drive anymore tonight, so I'm staying in a fancy hotel and you can't stop me. So I'm gonna play some dang video games and have a few dang beers to unwind. I should be arriving in Springfield tomorrow early afternoon. Cheers!

One of the few things that I'm gonna miss about living in the south is the prevalence of Buc-ees so I had to stop for a pulled pork sandwich and a Big Red before leaving South Carolina.

My last day at my first job out of college is pretty bittersweet. Been teaching at a dream job for 14 years: an academicly focused public high school right by the beach in Florida, full of motivated students. I've loved every minute of teaching here, and I'll miss it. But it's time for a change.
