For example a hamstring stretch can be done pulling on a strap around your foot with a straight leg in a stretched position, holding for 10-30 seconds and contracting against the strap for 5-10 seconds then repeating.

#exerciseoftheday is the Pallof press, a sneaky challenging exercise that tests the anti rotational strength of the core stabilizers! Use a cable or resistance band and press straight out from the chest, creating more tension when extended. These are excellent for developing the entire core 🔥

You can start with a split stance, move on to single leg, then double leg on an unstable surface, then finally single leg on an unstable modality

#trainingtip of the day! Is it deadlift day but your lower back hurts? Consider switching up to a hex bar deadlift, single DB or kettlebell DL. These exercises take strain off your lower back by keeping the weight closer to your center of gravity #fitnesssky

#exerciseoftheday! Is the Dragon Flag! A brutal core exercise where with straight legs you elevate your body and slowly return to horizontal. A word of caution though, without sufficient core strength this can lead to lower back injury and should be built up to with bent legs at first #fitnesssky

#Trainingtip of the day 🎉 do you have an excessive forward lean when you squat? The culprit might be tight calves! The ankle needs to be able to dorsiflex to the proper angle in order to drop the hips deep enough for a good form squat, as well as prevent lower back pain. (1/2)
