Yeah, I think things like that are more for people who loved Transformers as a kid, but grew out of it in one way or another. Internally they can think of it as a tech gadget more than just "a toy". It's like how Playsations are sold as multimedia devices, not just a game system.

I think it's one of the best shows in general. Although being familiar with Gundam helps so you can see all the tropes the main characters are trying to prevent.

I hope a later series adapts in all of the dumb armor this figure had. Hell, give him even more arms.

Yeah. Eventually it got split into each one having their own icon, and then a separate icon just for the body shape. Rhydon was one of the first ones designed, so their sprite is used for all the Kaiju like ones.
