So, a new interview with the Clair Obscure / Expedition 33 developers came out
And there was a very pointed question with a clear cut answer on the genAI stuff- this is so much more reassuring!!!?
Basically it was due to early genAI naivety and they don’t fw it.

Woke up at 6 a.m. sweating and feeling nauseous.
6 in the morning. This heatwave here in São Paulo is totally bizarre.
I hate summer with a passion but lately it’s getting progressively worse, it seems. I don’t have AC in my apartment but oh boy, I wish I had.

I must say I’m really disappointed in seeing some news about Sandfall stance on AI for E33.
A game that resonates so much with artistic topics, human emotions and grief apparently using it for art is heartbreaking. I really hope they address this controversy by doing a public statement.

I'm so tired of the artist's profession being treated as something unimportant and easily replaceable. “We're just using genAI for concept art, trust me, it'll be live actors!”
I mean, yeah, artists aren't really people, so we shouldn't pay them or respect what they do... sigh

Well, now that I can’t do much I finally bought and started playing Expedition 33.
The combat is awesome but I’m just struggling with the dodge/parry mechanics because I’ve always been bad at that lol

Looks like I was unlucky and uninformed enough to injure both of my calves to the point I can’t properly walk. Yay!
I’ll never be using the specific shoes I was using at that day ever again. Let’s hope it heals until Sunday so I’m not forced to go to the hospital 🫠

Is it only me or all those cyclone warnings were not quite as frequent in previous years as they are now in 2025?
There’s an alert going on even for São Paulo (not as severe as the red one for the South but still) and I’m not happy about it because I’ll have to go twice to the office this week 🫠

I’m actively trying to get rid of wrist pain and will seek a doctor after year end close is finished.

And talking about traditional media, I tested the Ohuhu markers and the colors are vibrant and very pretty.
However they are not compatible with the sketchbooks I have (a lot of real bad bleeding) so I had to buy marker paper on Amazon. It’ll arrive tomorrow. I’m excited to try them out!
